The larger population is finally starting to wake up and question the quality of foods we are eating, as well as learning how to manage our own health. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, I am dealing with a much more educated population than I did 20 years ago. Thankfully, as a Chiropractor, my field of alternative and integrative health is the direction to where everyone is turning. Good health is our natural state. We are born to live a life of vitality, strength, peace and happiness - we are supposed to be healthy our entire lives. Unfortunately it doesn't always happen that way and I now see people sicker at a younger age. Too many people are not living to their potentials, they are living with physical and mental disease.
So what are some of the things you can do to reclaim health for yourself and your family and to maintain your health throughout the years? The chiropractic profession discovered that internal structural distortions called subluxations can cause serious health problems. Subluxations stress your nervous system and interfere with communications among your organs, glands, muscles and other body parts - including your brain and your immune system. Subluxations can be caused by any trauma: difficult birth, falls, accidents, emotional upset, chemical toxicity, overwork or a combination of factors ( i.e.. physical, chemical, or emotional stress while you are tired, overworked, malnourished, etc). Chiropractic can improve your overall health. Correcting subluxations can improve mental function and relieve depression. Chiropractic is also a way to maximize sports performance, improve overall health, and enhance balance, strength and fitness. In addition to all of the above, chiropractic can help everyone live a drug-free, healthy lifestyle.
1. Get Adjusted. 2. Eliminate Processed foods. 3. Detoxify 4. Stay Hydrated 5. Exercise Regularly. 6. Sleep.
7. Make Good Friends.
Chiropractic care connect people to their potentials. Chiropractic can help open you to detoxification, relaxation, emotional healing and a deeper connection to oneself and others. Chiropractic care helps people to become more physically balanced. This often increases their energy and permits them to move - both physically and emotionally. The mental/emotional benefits of chiropractic have been noticed since chiropractic's inception.
We have programs available for exercise, chiropractic, nutritional development, detoxification programs and wellness guidance.

I have been a chiropractor for since 1996 but an athlete since I played baseball with the boys in the early pee wee leagues. I continued with sports throughout my high school career: softball, basketball, skiing and competitive horseback riding. In chiropractic school I was introduced to functional exercise and structural rehabilitation and continue to do this type of exercise to this day with great success.
