Yes animals can benefit from chiropractic too! Believe it or not, they actual enjoy their adjustments. Once they realize they are not getting shots or their temperature taken, they calm down and enjoy the attention.
What reasons may bring a furry friend in? Aches and pains, a lack of wellness, stomach irritation, constipation or just a visit, anything that would typically bring in a human adult or baby. We are a human chiropractic office, but we are known to periodically have furry friends pop in. Of note, a hairless cat, a bunny rabbit, a cat on a lease, quite a few little pups (Nugget is featured here), and a horse, yes a horse, at the stable of course, not the office silly!
Okay, the holidays are a time for friends and fun, get togethers and laughter. Unfortunately, even the best of us will get sucked into an extra drink here and a couple of cookies there. I mean who can resist a good Sfogliatella, one of my favorite Italian pastries! Yum. Soon enough after eating 5 times the amount you would normally eat (I hope) and all the added sugar from the pastries, cookies and wine, your stomach starts to revolt. You can no longer button your pants, you are fatigued and your drive is low, and unfortunately are extremely uncomfortable.

I have been a chiropractor for since 1996 but an athlete since I played baseball with the boys in the early pee wee leagues. I continued with sports throughout my high school career: softball, basketball, skiing and competitive horseback riding. In chiropractic school I was introduced to functional exercise and structural rehabilitation and continue to do this type of exercise to this day with great success.
