![]() 7 Evidence-Based Weight Loss Tips It seems that once you search online for anything to do with weight loss, you’re soon to get blasted with ads for health gurus, 3-step plans, and magic pills that cut fat. Unfortunately, any plan that forgets diet, exercise, and lifestyle choices isn’t one that works. It’s best to stick to the evidence-based facts. We’re going to give you some tried and true weight loss tips today. Hopefully, the information below can give you some insight into ways that you can see some lasting change. Let’s get started: 7 Truly Effective Weight Loss Tips We should mention that weight loss is different for everyone. Your journey will depend on your current lifestyle, your body type, and the particular challenges that your life offers. That said, the tips below are broadly effective for most people. If we stick to the well-documented methods, we’re most likely to see results across the board. 1. Drink More Water Drinking enough water is something that most people fail to do. It might seem like the recommended volume per day for your body type is excessive, but keep in mind that drinking water helps you burn fat. Getting water into your system boosts your metabolism, curbs your hunger, and provides a wide range of other health benefits. It’s wise to get a big reusable bottle of water, keep it on you at all times, and sip throughout the day. That’s the best way to get all of the water you need. The alternative is drinking exorbitant (but healthy) amounts at one time, which is pretty tough to do. 2. Understand How Food Interacts With Your Body Think of the tidal wave of food marketing that you’ve been exposed to throughout your life. How much of the information we receive about food is actually accurate? We’ve even found out that the food pyramid that was pushed in schools for decades is actually pretty suspect. That means that a lot of our ideas about food might not be based on actual evidence. Understand what carbs do in the body, how dietary fiber operates, and what proportions are healthy for your lifestyle. A foundational understanding of food will direct and inform your dietary choices. Instead of getting a diet soda, then, you might take a look at the back of the bottle and choose to drink water instead. 3. Reduce Carb, Sugar, and Starch Intake That is if you’re consuming too much of those things now. A lot of times, unhealthy weight gain is the result of too much sugar going into the body. Carbs are broken down into sugar, too, so eating excessive amounts of it leads to fat buildup. Our bodies are storing that fat in case we need it later. A couple of thousand years ago, that fat would have been crucial for survival. Now, excess fat is the thing that leads to an untimely death for thousands of people each year. So, identify the excess sugars and carbs in your diet and do the work to cut them out. 4. Focus on Protein Try offsetting a portion of your carb intake with protein. Consuming protein throughout the day can prompt your body to use more calories, as well as reduce your feelings of hunger. It’s also important to remember that not all proteins are created equal. There are nine essential amino acids that comprise protein. Not all sources of protein contain all nine of these acids. Those sources that do are called “complete proteins.” Most meats offer complete proteins, while other sources are host to just a few of the amino acids you need in your diet. There are certainly non-meat complete proteins. Many beans and seeds offer great sources. 5. Exercise Enough We say “enough,” because many weight loss programs lead you to think that you have to be busting your butt constantly to see results. The truth is, you should be doing what you can if you’re going the process alone. All of us have probably experienced a time when we started with a goal, pushed far too hard for our own abilities, and ended up just quitting. The same goes for changing a diet, producing at work, or achieving any sort of goal. Your angle shouldn’t be one of brute force and dedication if that’s not who you are. Instead, you should be forgiving of yourself and have the foresight to set healthy expectations. That said, exercising in any way might be a challenge for you. That’s a challenge that will greatly help your weight loss efforts when met. So, get up and get some cardio, but don’t set your sights so high that they’re unreachable. 6. Work With a Coach What’s more motivating than a professional when you have to get something done? Working with a weight loss coach is a method that will provide results time and time again. This is a person who can keep you in check and offer the most effective suggestions and programs when it comes to losing weight. Instead of doing your research alone and trying to hold yourself accountable, this person will give you the information and motivation you need. While it might be a little daunting to work out with someone pushing you, the results that come are well worth the initial struggle. Programs like ChiroThin are just the thing to get you motivated and start seeing results with the help of a pro. 7. Address Your Stress Weight gain is a complicated issue. It happens as a result of imbalances in your life, whatever they may be. One of those imbalances is stress. If you experience chronic stress, you might notice a significant amount of weight gain. It’s not stress alone that causes this, but our bodies’ responses to stress. When you’re body is stressed, your cortisol levels spike, and your blood sugar drops. When this happens, we crave sugar. We want to eat sugary snacks, bread, and other things packed with carbs. This process continues and the habit of unhealthy eating turns into a coping mechanism, and we’re left a little less healthy. Taking care of stress in whatever way you can is key to establishing a lifestyle change. Ready to Make a Change? Hopefully, the weight loss tips above have given you some food for thought. There’s a lot involved in losing weight, though, and we’re here to help you move forward. Are you ready to get started on the path to a healthier you? Please Place A Check Mark By Any Of The Following Conditions That You Currently or Have Previously Experienced… _______ Fatigue _______ Upset Stomach _______ Fibromyalgia _______ Seizures _______ Stomach Cramps _______ Bloating/Gas _______ Irritable Bowel Syndrome _______ Chronic Inflammation _______ Diarrhea _______ Nausea If you checked even 1 of the conditions above, you may be suffering from parasite infestation. I know what you’re thinking… “PARASITES? Not me!” But wait… Did You Know... • It is estimated that as many as 90% of Americans have parasites! • Up to 30% of daycare workers are infected with Giardia (a parasite in the bowel)! • There are 150,000 different types of parasites and they are in every aspect of the average American’s life. (Food, Soil, Water, and Pets) • Parasite infection/infestation is thought to be a causative factor in many disease states. • Many times the presence of parasites goes undetected until a person is undergoing surgery and the parasites are “found” in the diseased organ or body part. How Do I Get Parasites? • Do you allow your dog or cat to sleep with you? If the answer is “Yes”, you have put yourself at a high risk of having roundworm infection as most dogs and cats have roundworm. Sleeping with pets dramatically increases the chance of parasite infection/infestation. http://www.cdc.gov/parasites/toxocariasis/epi.html • Do you eat fish? Many types of parasites, especially Anisakis worms, are found in uncooked (think sushi) and undercooked fish, and in some cases, the damage it can cause to the organs can be fatal. Since many of these worms can only be detected with a microscope, it frequently goes undetected during food inspection. http://www.cdc.gov/parasites/anisakiasis/faqs.html • Do you drink tap water? Parasites in tap water is the cause of the largest US parasite outbreak in modern history. This outbreak occurred in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1993. There were approximately 403,000 cases of this parasite infection. Unfortunately, there were over 60 deaths occurred due to this outbreak! http://www.cdc.gov/parasites/crypto/ • Do you eat food? Fruit from outside the US and undercooked meat is another large source of parasite infection in humans! http://www.foodsafetynews.com/2013/07/last-big-cyclospora-outbreak-was-traced-to-guatemalan-raspberries Containing all of the accepted and known “Parasite Killers”, Clean should be considered a vital part of your health regimen! Ozempic, Wegovy, and Rybelsus are all semaglutide.
Today we will discuss the ChiroThin weight program vs. Diabetes Drugs For Weight Loss, and the time it takes to lose weight, we will compare each one, the cost, and finally the side effects Just like with diabetes drugs for weight loss, with ChiroThin there is no exercise needed, no gritty shakes, cardboard bars, or disgusting prepackaged foods required. The only difference is that with ChiroThin you will save time and money and is not dangerous while reaching your weight loss goal. I wish to remind you that every other medical weight-loss fad has been stopped or pulled off the market because of long-term side effects… remember Phen-Fen which damaged blood vessels and valves of the heart? Let's compare the safe and effective Chiro Thin program to medication. Time to lose 10% - 15% of body weight (based on a 200 lb. female and a 300 lb. male) • ChiroThin – 4.7 weeks to 6 weeks • Ozempic and Wegovy – 12 months • Mounjaro – 6-9 months • Metformin – 3 years How much faster is ChiroThin compared to the drugs listed below for a 200-pound person to lose 10% (20 lbs.) of their body weight? • ChiroThin is approximately 21x faster than Metformin (5 weeks vs 104 weeks) • 7.8x faster than Ozempic/Wegovy/Semaglutide (5 weeks vs 39 weeks) •approximately 5.2x faster than Mounjaro (5 weeks vs 26 weeks) Fun Facts Based On A 200-Pound Individual ChiroThin a) Average weight loss of 12.3% in just 6 weeks (573 participant study) b) On average a 200-pound person will take 4.7 weeks… NOT MONTHS to lose 20 pounds Metformin a) Anticipated weight loss of 5% per year. b) A 200-pound person will take 2 years to lose 20 pounds. c) The average person will spend $480-$760 ($20-$30/mo) and 2 years to lose 20 pounds. Ozempic and Wegovy a) Anticipated weight loss of 10-15% per year b) A 200-pound person will take 9-12 months to lose 20 pounds. c) The average person will spend $1,350 - $2,400 ($150-$200/mo.) to lose 20 pounds. Mounjaro a) Anticipated weight loss of 15%-20% in 9-12 months b) A 200-pound person will take 6 months to lose 20 pounds. c) The average 200-pound person will spend approximately $5,400.00 ($900.00/mo.) and take 6 months to lose 20 pounds. ChiroThin vs Diabetes Drug a) ChiroThin is the fastest, safest, and most long-term way to reach your weight loss goals when followed as instructed. b) With ChiroThin you lose 10-15% of body weight in 6 weeks instead of 6-12 months c) All-natural product designed specifically for weight loss instead of a drug that was not designed for weight loss. d) With ChiroThin you put drops under your tongue, and you don’t need to give yourself shots or injections as you do with the off-label diabetes drugs e) ChiroThin is formulated to help prevent muscle loss while diabetes drugs are not. It is also important to note that loss of lean muscle is a documented negative side effect of using diabetes drugs for weight loss. This is critical because the more muscle a person has, the higher their BMR is. Diabetes drugs for weight loss result in you being “under-muscled” and “over-fatted” which is a terrible combination that leads to rebound weight gain and higher metabolic age. f) ChiroThin has a guarantee called our “lose 20-pound promise”. With off-label diabetes drugs, there are no guarantees. g) With ChiroThin not only will you be saving time and money but you will be supporting a local business by working with a local doctor that you can meet with and trust. h) YOU WILL REACH YOUR WEIGHT LOSS GOALS FASTER WITH ChiroThin. i) ChiroThin gives you a plan to keep the weight off long-term. Off-label diabetes drugs do not. What do you think will happen when you stop taking drugs? Let's talk about side effects. Semaglutide/Ozempic/Wegovy Side Effects Semaglutide may cause serious side effects, including • Possible thyroid tumors, including cancer. A type of thyroid cancer called medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) • Do not use if: if you or any of your family have ever had a type of thyroid cancer or condition called Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). Don’t use if you: • have or have had problems with your pancreas or kidneys. • have type 2 diabetes and a history of diabetic retinopathy. • have or have had depression, suicidal thoughts, or mental health issues. • are pregnant or plan to become pregnant? It may harm your unborn baby. You should stop using it 2 months before you plan to become pregnant. • are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed? It is not known if it passes into your breast milk. Semaglutide may have interactions with other medications. Tell your healthcare provider if you are taking other medicines to treat diabetes, including sulfonylureas or insulin. Is it possible thyroid cancer is not enough? Want more serious side effects? • inflammation of your pancreas (pancreatitis). Stop using if you have severe pain in your stomach area (abdomen) that will not go away, with or without vomiting. You may feel the pain from your abdomen to your back. • gallbladder problems. including gallstones. • increased risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) in patients with type 2 diabetes, especially those who also take medicines for type 2 diabetes. Signs and symptoms of low blood sugar may include dizziness or light-headedness, blurred vision, anxiety, irritability or mood changes, sweating, slurred speech, hunger, confusion or drowsiness, shakiness, weakness, headache, fast heartbeat, or feeling jittery. • kidney problems (kidney failure). In people who have kidney problems, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting may cause a loss of fluids (dehydration) which may cause kidney problems to get worse. • severe allergic reactions. Stop using Semiglutide (not sure how you would since it is injected into your body) and get medical help right away, if you have any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat; problems breathing or swallowing; severe rash or itching; fainting or feeling dizzy; or very rapid heartbeat. • change in vision in patients with type 2 diabetes. • increased heart rate. Tell your healthcare provider if you feel your heart racing or pounding in your chest and it lasts for several minutes. • depression or thoughts of suicide. You should pay attention to any mental changes, especially sudden changes in your mood, behaviors, thoughts, or feelings. The Standard cholesterol reference range is 100 to 199, however with functional medicine the optimal range is 180 to 240. Cholesterol is vital for human life and we cannot live without it. It is synthesized based on need. Needed for reproduction, biosynthesis, cell structure and tissue repair. Cholesterol is a sterol not just a fat. It’s a certain type of fat. 75% is synthesized in the body and this is our primary source of cholesterol with only 25% of it coming from dietary intake. Cholesterol is so important that it is created by and recycled by the body daily. In 1967 the reference range for cholesterol for men was 255 and for women was 280. The current ranges are lower than they’ve ever been. Human health has been sacrificed for corporate profits with many studies being manipulated to support the lower ranges. Newer and other studies have been shown that higher levels are highly beneficial and protective. Decreased cholesterol concerns under 180 include the following: weakened cellular membranes, poor quality myelin sheath, an inability to think clearly, poor memory, insufficient steroid hormone production, impaired immune system function, fatty acid deficiency, uncontrolled inflammation, impaired brain function and poor neurotransmitters. Levels under 180 are associated with a 200% increase in cerebrovascular accidents, a 300% increase in liver cancer, a 200% increase in lung disease, a 200% increase in depression and suicide, a 200% increase in addictive behavior. You don’t believe me? Go to the latest studies on punned.com where all the most recent research is. If you have increased cholesterol and high triglycerides you should always look for the cause first. Blood sugar dysregulation and stress are likely culprits. Consider herbal and or nutritional support to optimize liver and biliary function. Evaluate for underlying thyroid dysfunction. Investigate for possible reasons for inflammation including dietary. Remember to fast before you take your cholesterol testing because cholesterol and triglycerides are sensitive to intake of dietary fat. Excess levels of cholesterol are associated with glucose dysregulation, obesity, inactivity, smoking and poor liver function, and overall inflammation. A good measure is, Is the ratio between the level of HDL/ total cholesterol that we need to be concerned about. In adults the HDL cholesterol versus the total cholesterol ratio should be higher than .24 just divide your HDL/TotalCholesterol. .24 or higher is considered ideal, under .24 is considered low, and less than .10 is very dangerous. So generally speaking the higher the ratio, the better and the lower your risk of heart attack. More importantly is the triglyceride/HDL cholesterol ratio which should be below 2. Just divide your triglyceride level by your HDL. The triglyceride/HDL ratio of 2 or less is considered ideal. 4 is considered high, 6 is considered too much. It is now believed that the triglyceride/HDL ratio is one of the most potent predictors of heart disease. Higher Triglycerides alone increase the risk of heart attack nearly threefold. Therefore the ratio of triglycerides to HDL is the strongest predictor of a heart attack. Cholesterol is the fireman of your body. Its job is to put out fires. If your body is inflamed because of toxins, poor diet, and lack of fitness, your body will produce higher cholesterol to put out the inflammation fires. Rethink your statins, Rethink about your cholesterol levels, read the latest studies, learn to think for yourself. Secondary lymphedema can be caused by other conditions such as infections and inflammatory diseases. In some cases, lymphedema can lead to skin infections and lymphangitis. Protecting the skin can help reduce the risk of lymphedema. The six lymphatic organs include the thymus, tonsils, bone marrow, Peyer's patches, and mucous membranes. They all serve functions to assist in maintaining body fluid levels, absorbing digestive tract fats and cellular waste, and assisting the immune system.
